What Is the Eltek ANX 95 Fire Alarm System?

A ship’s fire detection system is required by SOLAS. Smoke, heat and flame detectors and manual call points are connected to the central fire alarm panel. The ANX 95 continuously monitors these devices; when a detector reaches its threshold the panel shows PRE-ALARM or FIRE, displays the zone or detector address on the LCD, and activates sounders and external alarms. If several detectors are in alarm, the MULTIPLE ALARMS indicator lets the operator scroll through them.

The panel also supervises its own power supply (SUPPLY HEALTHY), wiring and devices (SYSTEM FAULT), and shows when a device has been disabled (DEVICE ISOLATED).
