VISATRON® Oil Mist Detection systems are manufactured by Schaller Automation in Germany and are extensively used for monitoring oil mist concentration in diesel and dual-fuel engine crankcases.
The VN87plus family includes VN115/87plus, VN116/87plus and VN215/87plus. Schaller's operating documentation explains that these systems continuously sample engine atmosphere and provide pre-alarm and main oil-mist alarm functions.
The VISATRON VN115/87plus monitors oil mist development across the connected crankcase sampling system.
